Payment processing that never runs on one path.
More than one processor behind your checkout, routing between them on every transaction, and a card vault that stays yours. One application, for businesses owned in the United States or anywhere else.
Live in 24 hours from a complete application. No card or bank details are collected on this site.
Checkout live. Carried by Processor A.
Average authorization rate on routed accounts; yours depends on your business and card mix. Each transaction takes the route most likely to approve.
A passport and company documents are enough. Owners and companies outside the United States are onboarded routinely.
Funds settle in two business days to the account you nominate. Any reserve is stated in your offer before you sign.
From a complete application to a working account. Your documents are prepared once and sent to every processor behind your routing.
Approval is subject to underwriting. Authorization rates are averages across routed accounts.

Routing
A processor's outage does not become your outage.
Most businesses run on a single processor. When it has an outage, changes a policy or opens a review on your account, checkout stops. With Sequence, more than one merchant account sits behind your checkout, and cards are tokenized into a vault that belongs to you. A processor going dark is a routing change, not a migration.
- Routing by card brand, issuing country, amount and recent processor performance.
- Decline recovery: a soft decline (one the issuer would approve on a retry) retries through an alternative route, within the card network rules.
- Add or replace a processor without your customers entering a card again.
- Export your vault at any time, in a documented format, with no exit fee for your own data.
Illustration. Which account carries a transaction is decided per route.
Why Sequence
One integration. Several ways to get paid.
Routing is the product. Everything around it is built to keep it simple to run.
Redundant routing
More than one processor behind your checkout
Your vault sits in front of more than one merchant account. One processor's outage or policy change becomes a routing change on our side, and your sales continue.
Higher approvals
Every transaction takes its best route
Routing weighs card brand, issuing country, amount and how each processor has been performing. A soft decline on one route can still succeed on another.
A vault that is yours
Tokens, profiles and subscriptions under your name
Cards are tokenized into a vault you own. Processors connect to the vault rather than holding your cards themselves, so switching one does not mean customers entering cards again.
Non-US owners welcome
No SSN needed
A passport, company documents and a business account for settlement are what underwriting needs. Owners and companies outside the United States are routine here.
Clarity, not surprises
One rate, in writing
You see your rate, the fee schedule and any reserve before you sign. Every fee on your statement is on the schedule you signed.
A named specialist
A named contact who knows your account
From application to live and after: one person who knows your business, your history and your routing, and answers by name.
Non-US owners
Owners outside the United States are welcome.
Many processors stop at the SSN field. We do not. Underwriting works from a passport, company documents and a business account for settlement, so founders and companies based outside the United States are onboarded the same way as everyone else, with the same routing and the same terms.
- No SSN or US credit history needed for owners.
- Documents uploaded once, through a secure link, and reused for every processor behind your routing.
- Settlement to the business account you nominate, two business days after the transaction.
How it works
From application to live in four steps.
Apply
Ten minutes. What you sell, where, your volume and your history. No documents yet, and no card or bank details on this site.
One package
Your identity and business checks (KYC) are prepared once and sent to every processor behind your routing.
Live in 24 hours
Merchant accounts provisioned, routing set, vault under your name. Hosted checkout, direct API, or your existing platform.
Routed and tuned
Approval rates, retries and routing rules reviewed with your named contact as the volume comes in.
Payouts and visibility
Paid in two business days, with nothing hidden.
Settlement lands two business days after the transaction. The dashboard shows every transaction, the route it took, its status and any dispute against it, and the exports reconcile against your bank statement line by line.
- D+2 settlement to the account you nominate.
- Any reserve stated in the offer with its release schedule, before you sign.
- Disputes handled in the same dashboard, with the evidence deadline visible.
One processor or several
A single processor is a single point of failure.
| The difference | Sequence | Single processor |
|---|---|---|
| Outages | Traffic moves to another route | Checkout stops until it is fixed |
| Account reviews | One path paused, sales continue on the others | Sales paused while the review runs |
| Declines | Soft declines retry on an alternative route | A decline is the end of the sale |
| Your customers' cards | Tokenized in a vault you own and can export | Held in their system; leave and everyone enters a card again |
| Fees and reserves | Stated in writing before you sign | Set by their terms, changed by their terms |
| Support | A named specialist who knows your account | A ticket queue |
Pricing
One rate for your business, in writing before you sign.
We do not publish a single headline rate, because the real number depends on what you sell, where you sell it, your volume and your card mix. You get your rate, the full fee schedule and any reserve before you sign anything. Every fee on your statement is on the schedule you signed.
Three ways to price it
- Flat rate. One percentage and one per-transaction fee, for merchants who want a simple statement.
- Interchange-plus. Network cost passed through at cost plus a fixed markup, for higher volumes.
- Custom. For large or multi-brand merchants, priced on the actual mix.
Larger or more complex businesses are reviewed and priced individually. Approval is subject to underwriting.
Compliance
Built so raw card data stays off your systems.
Cards are tokenized as they are entered; your checkout and your CRM only ever hold tokens. 3-D Secure 2 and fraud screening run by rule, and the compliance documentation for the vault and processing infrastructure is provided at onboarding. Read the compliance overview.
Questions, answered
What merchants ask before they apply.
Why use more than one processor?
Every processor has outages, policy changes and account reviews, and on a single processor each of those stops your checkout. With more than one behind your vault, traffic moves to another route and your sales continue. It also lifts approvals: a soft decline on one route can succeed on another.
I am not a US citizen. Can I apply?
Yes. A passport, company documents and a business account for settlement are what underwriting needs. No SSN. Companies owned from outside the United States are normal here.
Is 24 hours realistic?
Twenty-four hours from a complete application: documents in, site reviewed, package sent. Missing documents are what slows it down, so the exact list comes with our first reply.
Will there be a reserve?
Only if underwriting sets one for your account. If it does, the amount and its release schedule are in your offer before you sign, and it is reviewed as your history builds.
How are disputes handled?
They appear in the dashboard with the evidence deadline, you respond from there, and your named contact watches the ratio with you. A descriptor customers recognize and clear billing terms prevent most of them.
Can I switch without my customers entering cards again?
Yes. Tokens from your current processor are migrated into your vault where the processor allows export, and subscriptions continue from the next scheduled date.
